The Unstoppable Foundation’s vision is that every child on the planet has access to the life-long gift of education. To support that vision, we work with organizations that provide children and their families in developing countries the resources and training necessary to eliminate the obstacles preventing children from accessing education and to break the cycle of poverty. This is done primarily through the Adopt a Village program.
Made up of four pillars crucial to lifting communities from poverty—education, alternative income, health care and water and sanitation—Adopt a Village is a holistic model that relies on local people to actively participate in creating sustainable communities.
Free the Children is our primary partner for our 2010 campaigns to deliver the Adopt a Village model to thousands of beneficiaries in Kenya and Haiti.
Secondary partners include Vivian Glyck with Just Like My Child Foundation in Uganda and Kimmie Weeks in Youth Action International in Liberia. We are committed to not only building schools and providing life-giving services to the community, but we also provide the transformational tools to encode them with some of the greatest wisdom and knowledge that has ever been used in the educational system.
