Unstoppable Foundation Habitat for Humanity Completed Projects

Thanks to the generous support of our Unstoppable Community and charitable businesses and corporations, we have raised over $1 million dollars and built over 150 homes in Nepal, Guatemala, and throughout the US with Habitat for Humanity.

The Unstoppable Nepal 100 Home Build

Surrounded by the majestic Himalayan Mountains, 19 Americans began a process that would forever change not only the lives of 100 Nepalese families, but their lives as well.

In December 2000, Cynthia Kersey led a group of Habitat for Humanity volunteers to the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal. Her goal: To build 3 homes in just 1 week AND raise enough money to build 100 homes for impoverished Nepalese families. More...

Unstoppable Scholarship Program

The Foundation implemented a scholarship program in 2006 that is supporting girls and young women to get an education. One of those girls is Jawaahir Mohammed. Cynthia met Jawaahir in Kenya at a rural African Women’s conference in 2006. Inspired by Jawaahir’s determination to get an education and take care of her baby and family, the Unstoppable Foundation is supporting Jawaahir financially to take care of her basic monthly needs but also is paying for her education.

We are proud that Jaawahir will be completing her 2-year Certificate program for Community Development in December of 2008 at the Kenya Institute for Development Studies. She is continuing her education to get a degree in the same subject. She along with all scholarship recipients will not only receive a valuable education but will be required to contribute in their villages in the form of community service.
